Two of the greatest MLB betting baseball players of all time are outfielders Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth. Aaron played from 1954 to 1976, while Ruth played from 1914 to 1935. Despite never playing a single game against one another, the duo is often compared as if they played their entire careers at the same time. Aaron was the first man to break Ruth’s home run record, which at one point seemed untouchable. But who is the better hitter, Babe Ruth or Hank Aaron? Statistically speaking, it goes without saying that Hank Aaron had better hitting results, as he played both right field and first base. Conversely, Babe Ruth spent the first part of his career as a pitcher with the Boston Red Sox, before converting to the outfield. Despite fewer plate appearances, the original American baseball hero, Babe Ruth, actually had the same amount of runs in his career as Hank Aaron. Ruth also crushed Aaron when it came to hitting triples, as he had 136 betting online triples compared to only 98 for Aaron. In the home run category, as everyone knows, Babe Ruth became the first major league player to hit over 700 home runs in his career, hitting 714. Yet, Hank Aaron was the first hitter to break Babe Ruth’s record, as he hit a total of 755 home runs in his career. From a franchise player perspective, Babe Ruth wins out, as for much of his career, he carried the Yankees to their World Series title wins. For example, when Ruth hit 54 home runs and 137 RBI for the first time, he had as many runs batted in as three players on that World Series losing team. At the same time, Hank Aaron partnered with Eddie Matthews to carry the betting software offense. In other words, if Aaron didn’t have Matthews getting on base, would he have really had as much hitting success? |
