Two of the greatest MLB betting baseball players of all time are outfielders Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth. Aaron played from 1954 to 1976, while Ruth played from 1914 to 1935. Statistically speaking, it goes without saying that Hank Aaron had better hitting results, as he played both right field and first base. Conversely, Babe Ruth spent the first part of his career as a pitcher with the Boston Red Sox, before converting to the outfield. Despite fewer plate appearances, the original American baseball hero, Babe Ruth, actually had the same amount of runs in his career as Hank Aaron.
