The Miami Marlins the former Florida Marlins of the MLB, are looking to rebrand their organization by being bigger and better then their predecessors. Formerly known as one of the team’s with the lowest budgets in the league, the Miami Marlins are looking to show fans and critics alike, that this often forgotten franchise is here to contend for a World Series. With the sports betting baseball offseason progressing, here is a look at why the Marlins have been the busiest at least from a media standpoint over the last couple of weeks.

Miami is looking to become the city of the stars. Already harboring the likes of Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Jose Theodore, and Brian Campbell, if all goes according to plan, Miami will also be the home of baseball stars Jose Reyes, Albert Pujols and CJ Wilson by the end of the winter. After setting a single season record in lack of attendance a year ago, the Marlins are revamping their roster in hopes of bringing more fans to the ballpark.

The additions of all three veteran players, will not only force management to increase their budget for next season, but should instantly make the Marlins a contender in the NL East. Reyes is the first free agent expected to be signed, as reports over the weekend, indicated, that he would sign a large contract with Miami sometime today. Albert Pujols, the former long time St. Louis Cardinal first baseman, is looking to go somewhere, where he can be paid heavily for his services. CJ Wilson on the other hand, is a pitcher that is a free agent at the right time, as he is young enough, that bookie software teams are still anxious about his potential. If all three sign in Miami, that could be one of the best cities to travel too as a sports fan.
